You can use your handset on any part of your body, including your Brazilian (Bikini area) and face. But please do not use around the eyes (use only below cheekbones). The underarms are also safe to treat, as are standard areas such as the hands, feet, and knuckles, but you should avoid flashing directly over tattoos or larger, deeper moles.

Using your handset on various body parts can enhance your hair removal experience, but it's important to follow safety guidelines.

Our IPL is not suitable for the ‘inner parts of the bikini area. Therefore you should never use it on the labia minora, vagina, scrotum, or anus.

Safety is paramount when using IPL devices, so avoiding sensitive areas ensures a more comfortable and effective treatment.

To prevent discomfort, we advise you to treat the bikini area, inner thighs, and buttocks from the lowest intensity level, as the skin in these areas can be more sensitive.

Starting at the lowest intensity helps to minimize discomfort and allows your skin to adjust to the treatment.

Ulike Air 10 is designed to work reliably on Fitzpatrick skin types I through IV, and can still be used on type V by starting at the lowest intensity and relying on the built-in skin tone sensor to guide treatment. If your skin tone is too dark for safe treatment (typically type VI), the sensor will automatically stop flashing, and professional laser hair removal is a safer option than continuing with an at-home IPL handset.
